Married to Rod Collins, a lifelong Chittenango resident.  We have 4 children: Matt, 29, Fairfax VA; Dan, 26, Carlsbad CA; Shane, 19, attending Morrisville, and Tori, 17, a senior at Chittenango high.

Grew up on a fruit farm in Michigan, and got a degree in biology, English and art at Central Michigan University.  Worked in sales and marketing in Denver and traveled the Rocky Mountain states for 7 years before transferring to a position based in central New York.

I love this area and being surrounded by hills, wooded areas and farm fields.

Work experience:

  • Sales & marketing rep for Dow Chemical, SpaceLabs, & Diagnostic Medical Instruments
  • Provider relations rep for United Health Care (when it was Travelers)
  • Secretary for CrossRoads Community Church
  • Substitute teacher in the Chittenango district
  • Marketing director at

Currently, I am a marketing consultant who writes proposals and marketing collateral, and provides training in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Powerpoint, Excel, and Visio.  I also own an internet franchise that specializes in health, anti-aging, and diet products.

I am a co-founder of CNY Lyme Support along with Kim Mulvihill, Kim Smith, and my bestest/dearest friend Marilyn Anderson. Marilyn was the first to point out that I needed a Lyme evaluation. She and her daughter Kim were very supportive of me and I eventually got the treatment I needed.

About Me

I work at CrossRoads Community Church as a Caring Ministry Coordinator.  After 26 years of working with youth, I transitioned into ministry to those that are ill, aging and to those with special needs.  I coordinate a team of people as we help those in our congregation with needs.

I have been in Rotary since 2008. I joined after hosting a youth exchange student.  I served as Youth Exchange Officer for three years prior to this year as President of our club. This is my third year on the Rotary Board.  I am enjoying my year as president and have enjoyed making many new friends through Rotary.
